Using Science To Stop Algal Blooms
While long term solutions to harmful algal blooms involve mitigating discharges to water bodies, short term solutions are needed to protect human health and the environment.
ResET Water has a short term solution that is fast, reliable and easy to implement.
ResET Water’s clean electrochemical oxidation (EO) process safely and effectively removes harmful algal blooms (HABs) from water bodies, giving peace of mind to communities so they can enjoy their water safely and preserve its ecosystem.
Removes Algae
Our solution removes algae safely and without chemicals in a portable system, no permit required.
Clean Technology
Using electricity to clean water means a low energy solution with no negative environmental impact.
Productive Partnerships
As we move from research to production phase, we are looking for customers and investors to grow.
Portable, Mobile, and Scalable
Our prototypes are portable, self-contained units.. This flexibility means they can be installed on water rafts of difference sizes. This also means they can be easily transported to different bodies of water quickly, and the scale of the water treatment operation can quickly be scaled up based on needs, size of the body of water that requires treatment, and availability of water crafts.
Some algae is good but too much algae is a disaster.
Algal blooms have huge economic, health, and environmental impacts. Here are a few stats from NOAA of impacts from algal blooms in the United States. See more case studies on their website “Hitting us where it hurts”.
dollar value increase in average home price on Lake Erie after algae reduction
residents of Toledo OH couldn’t drink city tap water due to algal bloom (2014)
million dollars lost in TX when algae bloom devastated fishery (1981-2008)
